Hmm.... this movie's familiar- Oh, right it's a rip-off!

I went into the theater expecting to be scared out of my mind. I came out of the theater laughing my head off. The Others, intended to be a most frightening movie turned out to be a complete failure simply because it is a rip-off of the 6th Sense.

The film begins showing Nicole Kidman as a young mother raising two sickly children who are allergic to sunlight. Well, poor Nicole's husband went off to fight in World War II. It's 5 years later, yet he never came back. So, poor Nicole must take care of the children and house (with the help of the servants. However, one day, she wakes up and the servants are just gone. Odd, isn't it?

Luckily, some new servants arrive at the door!! Of course, they are hired, introduced to the children, etc... Then, however, all these weird things begin to happen. Nicole Kidman is led to believe that the house is haunted; and the servants sure help convince hear. Then comes the surprise ending.

I don't reccomend this movie: it's not really scary, the ending isn't surprising, and just about the only good thing is Nicole Kidman. But hey, if you want to waste 5 bucks, GO FOR IT
