The Bottom Line A list without Bartok??? or Sam Cooke? Two of many casualties of alphabetical choices!

For Romansuave's alphabetical movie flash writeoff, I only had to struggle through the alphabet once. Ron demands not only three passes, but specification within each of them. I decided to confine myself to recordings I have, and—to further strain my already overtaxed brain—to add a fourth alphabetical torture, classical music composer.

For each letter of the alphabet, I am listing my favorite classical composer, favorite popular group, female vocalist, and male vocalist. I add a favorite by each of my favorites, but this is a list of composers and performances, not my favorite tracks/tunes/pieces.
