Food Lover's Write-Off

The Bottom Line As a recently-diagnosed diabetic, my choices are what I'd "like to have," rather than what I'd settle for on a typical occasion.
What is your favorite:
1. Soft Drink - Diet Dr. Pepper (I've also recently developed a taste for Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper). Second: Diet Mountain Dew Code Red.
2. Ice Cream Flavor - Butter Pecan.
3. Fast Food Restaurant - McDonald's.
4. Type of Pizza - Thin crust (St. Louis style). My favorite: Imo's St. Louis Style pizza, with sausage and bacon.
5. Thanksgiving Dinner - Roast turkey, stuffing (inside the bird); sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes (lumpy is best) with gravy; pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
6. Snack Food - pretzels.
7. Side Dish - Baked potato, butter, cheese and chives.
8. Food to Eat While Driving - Any kind of wrap (most can be eaten with one hand, with little chance of spilling anything on my lap).
9. Food for Breakfast - Oatmeal, with cinnamon and Splenda.
10. Sit-Down Restaurant - Rich and Charlie's, St. Louis, MO.
11. Italian Dish - Mushrooms Italiano (as prepared at Paisano's Italian Ristorante, Topeka KS).
12. Chinese Dish - I don't normally order Chinese from the menu, as the ones I frequent offer a buffet. My favorite is actually an appetizer - Crab Rangoon.
13. Sandwich - Ham and cheese, toasted, on a french roll.
14. Cheese - White cheddar. The sharper, the better.
15. Donut - Krispy Kreme glazed.
16. Type of dessert - Cheesecake.
17. Type of Cake - Carrot cake, with buttercream frosting.
18. Vegetable - Asparagus, with spinach a close second.
19. Fruit - Strawberries.
20. Food In Bed - I don't go to bed until I'm ready to sleep, so I generally don't eat in bed.
21. Beer - I like so many, depends on the occasion, but some of my favorites: Guinness Stout, Michelob Amber Bock, Rolling Rock, Newcastle Brown Ale. For just normal bar drinking: Bud Light.
22. Drink With Dinner - Since I'm normally driving...a diet soda is usually my choice.
23. Fruit Juice - Orange.
and Finally...
24. What is your favorite meal? - Pork steak, breaded and served with mushroom gravy (as prepared by my soon-to-be ex-wife, and best friend for life, Michelle).
