This is a very nice keyboard. Prices on backlit keyboards are all over the place - from $20 to $150. This one is low price and high quality. Each key is individually etched and backlit and there is a quality feel to the keypress. The blue color is cool and subdued. The overall brightness is very low-key. Neither are adjustable, but the effect is perfect and not gaudy like others I've seen.

The only negative (for me) is irregular key layout, typical of compact keyboards. I had to manually remap a few key functions for optimal use.

This keyboard is an extremely good value: it's same price as a basic compact keyboard, with the cool lighting!
