My girlfriend wrote up the sweetest thing for me, and I decided it would be a great post for my 400th contribution to Epinions. So here it is, the unabridged, unedited version of the Ryan Gamble Biography: June 12, 2005 Who is Ryan Gamble? So you have seen 399 posts made by this man, but do you really know him? As his girlfriend, I thought I would step in for post 400 and let you know some secrets. I have spent 10 of the most amazing months with this man and I can't wait to spend all the rest of my months with him. You get to see opinions and details about those opinions but what you are really missing out on is one of the greatest friends you could ever have. You get to agree and disagree with him, debate with him, but you don't get to see underneath it all, how passionate he is about life and writing. Who is Ryan Gamble? Hopefully, I can do him justice. Ryan is truly passionate about this site and what he can bring to you through it. He probably has had his shares of critics through 399 posts and this itself may bring more. He has probably tried to convince people through the years of opinions, I am sure he has debated more than few, but it has never stopped him. He has never walked away over differences. He is so quick to look beyond all that if he knows that he is helping someone out there with any word that he might write. He believes with all of his heart what he writes to you and though I did not know him at post number 1; I can guarantee you that he was as excited about that one as he will be post 401. I know that I am amazed at some of the critiques he writes for movies, most of the movies lately I have been by his side for and when I read them the next day, I am amazed that he was able to get ALL of that out of what I saw. The lengths of his reviews always make me smile, sometimes he has to think about what he had for lunch but he never forgets a detail of a movie! I hope you continue to enjoy the reviews as much as me. There is not a better friend out there than Ryan Gamble. Ryan is one of those true guys you hear about (sometimes only in fantasy worlds!) that would drop anything and everything to assist you. He never complains about it. He never talks bad about people. I give him a hard time, teasing him about being capable of saying no, he really would do anything for you. He is one of the best listeners that is out there. Ladies, you know that true guy friend you had once in your life that you could tell anything to and completely be yourself? Trust me that is Ryan. I know that he has gotten close to many of you and lots of you communicate with him through the internet. He would honestly call each of you a friend and really mean it. He would listen to you forever vent to him. He would never criticize you for anything. He would always have kind words to soothe worries and emotions. Then, to top it all off, he would never share your secrets with another person. He is the most respectful guy I have ever met when it comes to privacy and honoring friendships. He makes sacrifices all the time for the people in his life. He always puts everyone first before himself. To know him as a friend makes you the lucky one. I bet a lot of you don't realize how shy Ryan is. He writes so openly and with such confidence that if I knew him from that alone I would not think shy at all. Ryan is really reserved and quiet. I can guarantee you that his cheeks are red as he reads this for the first time. When you get to know him personally, you will see that he is deep down as open and passionate as he is in his writing. He is not the first to speak up in the crowd but always the first to listen and assist quietly with out a scene. His quiet and non assuming shell makes him all the more endearing and when you get to watch him come out and share life with you, it is amazing the person that is beneath all of the shyness. Though it is pretty hard to forget how cute the red cheeks are as well! Did you know outside of movies and writing, Ryan is also very passionate about games of all kinds? I have never met a man that is as competitive as he is fair. He will take on all kinds of battles to insure that things are fair, even and following the rules. He wants to win, but he equally wants to make sure things are by the book, everyone is having fun and that he wins with style versus an in your face attitude. It doesn't matter if it is a simple card game or a team sport. Rules are rules and with those rules you can do well and above all have fun. He makes a great leader by his examples. Did you also know that Ryan is very devoted to animals as well? He not only has 2 cats but I have a cat and a dog. He has adopted them all as a one big family. He will take care of them all as if they each came first. I am convinced that stray pets from all over the country realize that he is the one to go to and show up looking for a helping hand. There isn't an animal out there that he would not try to help out, but he always puts our pets first and seeks out good homes for those that are in need. I am convinced that our pets are living in a hotel and Ryan and myself are the concierge, but because of how Ryan treats the pets it is like they are living in the Ritz. How is Ryan as a boyfriend? Ohhhh, ladies you should all be jealous. I am one lucky girl. I have never met a man that is as sweet as Ryan. My entire day is always filled with compliments, accolades of love, and terms of endearments. He is the most tolerant man I have ever been around. It doesn't matter my mood, he is always truly happy to just be with me. He makes me smile non stop with his cute jokes and teases. He makes me blush with each unnecessary compliment he says. He makes my stomach flutter with his I love you. We have all had relationships but to be in love with not only your best friend but someone that treats you like you are a queen, there is nothing in this world anymore than can bring me down as long as he is part of it. I know, I know, I got you all rolling your eyes.......let me share these last words with you. Any of you out there with the over protective father? How about the over protective father that also works for the FBI? Or the over protective father that works for the FBI and believes that all men that come near his daughter are not only unworthy but also scum? Well, lucky if you don't have to deal with that, but, welcome to my life! As I was starting to write this, my father asked me what I was doing. For fear of getting teased, I thought about lying, but I told him, to which he responded, "Hmmm" as I waited for the jesting to begin, he said, "Well, make sure you tell them you got yourself a great one" My father is right. I know I have the best one. Those of you out there that are friends I am sure know it as well.
