Questions:

-Birth date: 11/30/76
-Height: 5'5"

-Eye color: blue

-Hair color: reddish brown

-What does your name mean: God's gracious gift

-High school graduation year: 1994

-Favorite relatives: My husband, my daughter, my brother

-Summer memory: I remember the "big" kids (a whole 3 years older) asking me to play Manhunt with them and I was doing a darn good job of getting away from them, even in my black strappy heels (we had just come home from a party).

-Favorite TV shows: Simpsons, Family Guy, The Daily Show, 30-Minute Meals with Rachael Ray, Judging Amy, South Park, Mad TV, Saturday Night Live

-What's on your mousepad: Actually I don't have one now. Hmmm... maybe that's why my wrist keeps hurting.

-In the car- ac or windows: I like having the windows down, but there's a big problem with that. I have curly hair and it gets very frizzy in the wind. Not to mention I can't get the memory of my junior high school prom out of my head. We were school-bused to the cruise (technically, it was only the Circle Line that goes around Manhattan) and the window next to me was down the whole time. It blew all of my hair onto one side of my head: the top! Scary thought.

-Do you believe in yourself: Sometimes. My husband always ends up giving me pep talks when I'm feeling down on myself.

-Favorite game: Just one? Here are a few: Cranium, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, Pac-Man, The Sims

-Favorite drink: Mango lassi

-Favorite food: lentil soup, although soup of any kind (except tomato and split pea) hit the spot

-Favorite colors: burgundy and black

-Favorite cigarettes: The kind that are FAR AWAY from me. I can't stand cigarettes. One of my pet peeves is seeing an unstomped out butt on the sidewalk. Grrrr! That makes me mad.

-Favorite sounds: shower water hitting my back, "You've Got Mail," the old dial-up modem sound--Ccchheeee--but only because I don't rely on it anymore, Super Mario Brothers music (doot, doot, doot, doo dootedoot), my daughter's laugh

-Favorite smell: anything minty (and cinnamin counts)

-Favorite thing to do on a weekend: sleep and watch a movie with my husband

-Favorite soundtrack: I don't own that many, so I'm going to have to go with Romeo & Juliet (y'know, the version with Leonardo DiCaprio)

-Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Still happily married with a daughter and (probably) a son, working full-time again (blah!).

-First thought in the morning: "Honey, shut your alarm clock."

-Do you get motion sickness: Only when I've got the car seat slid all the way back and the person driving is accelerating/decelerating quickly

-Rollercoasters- deadly or exciting: They're exciting, but
scary. But anyone who's ever waited in line for hours to ride one knows that just waiting that long makes you want to get the ride over with, regardless of the fear.

-How many rings before you answer the phone: Usually 2. It usually takes me that long to dash through the house and find somewhere to put my daughter (who of course is clinging to my arms)

-Are you a good friend: I'm not sure. I'm a good listener and I'm always there when my friends need me. But I hate talking on the phone and making inane chit-chat and I never make an effort to have a get-together.

-Chocolate or Vanilla cake: Chocolate

-What do you drive: I spent the beginning of my life making fun of my mother's car (and later van), and now I'm driving a Ford Windstar.

-Do you sleep with a stuffed animal: Only if you count my husband after he ate two helpings of lasagna for dinner.

-Thunderstorms cool or scary: Cool, but scary too

-If you could meet one person in the World, who would it
be: I can't think of anyone. I'm happy with my circle of friends and family.

-What is your zodiac sign: Sagitarius

-What do you wear to bed: shorts or pajama pants with a tight tank top that I can put a nursing pad into (I know, bad imagery, but I'm a mom who breastfeeds her baby).

-Do you eat stems of broccoli: Yep.

-Guys- If a girl ever asked you for the shirt on your back,
would you give it to her? N/A

-Girls- Would you ever ask a guy for his shirt? Nowadays, I don't need to. My husband senses when I'm cold and is more than willing to give me the shirt off his back. But in the good ol' days, when I was dating I would never ask for a guy's shirt. Nope. But I'd glare at the guy, make shivering sounds, and complain about how cold I am. If he still didn't take the hint, then he was not worth my time.

-If you could have any occupation when you get older, what
would it be: Psychiatrist. I'm always listening to people anyway, why not get paid for it.

-If you could dye your hair one color, what would it be:
I'd like to go blond just once in my life. But I can't do it now. Maybe when I'm going through a mid-life crisis.

-If you could have a tattoo, what and where would it be: I guess either on my ankle or the small of my back. As for the what, if I knew what tattoo I wanted it'd already be there.

-Favorite brand of gum: Chicklets (though I never eat them anymore. I'm not even sure they're still on the market)

-What is your favorite quote: "Try not, do or do not, there is no try"

-Have you ever been in love: Yes

-What's on your walls in your room: Not much. I have a couple framed Shakespearean sonnets and a framed, oooh, what's his name?... well, anywho, it's another framed poem. The one that goes "Rage, rage, against the dying of the light..."

-Is the glass half-empty or half-full: Half-full. I always thought I was a natural pessimist, then my husband caught me saying "half-full."

-Which do you prefer- Cool Ranch or Nacho Cheese Doritos: Cool Ranch

-Favorite flavor Snapple: Peach Iced Tea or the Banana one

-Which one, Coke or Pepsi: Ever since I quit soda when I was pregnant, I can't stand the stuff. I used to like Coke.

-Which kind of milk is your favorite: Chocolate. Sweetened soy milk is good too.

-If you were to kill someone, which method would you use? Now this is totally hypothetical. So FBI (or whoever is combing the 'Net for terrorists and such) don't pay any mind to me. I guess if I was that crazed and angry to want to kill someone, I'd probably reach for a knife. Maybe I've just seen too many horror movies.

-Are you a righty, lefty, or ambidextrous: righty

-Do you type with your fingers on the right keys: Yep, except for the number keys. I never could get my fingers to make those reaches.

-When you meet a person of the opposite sex, you notice
their: clothing, face, hair (or lack of)

-What's under your bed: Dust

-What's the best number in the World: 17

-What is your dream car: Don't really have one. I used to love the Mitsubishi 3000GT, but that was ages ago.

-Who is your biggest crush right now: my husband

-Nickname: Jea, Jealy, Jea Jea

-School: Queens College (known to the world as Jerry Seinfeld's school)

-Bacon Bits Or croutons: Croutons, preferably those big homemade ones

-Favorite Salad Dressing: Italian or balsamic vinagrette

-Do you Drink: Nope. Not anymore. On rare occasions, in my younger years, I used to have a beer or a mixed drink (I miss Midori sours, Mudslides, Daiquiris, and Bloody Marys)

-What type of Shampoo/Conditioner: Right now, Suave. I was in a cheap mood (and bought 2 huge bottles of the stuff) and now I feel like I have to finish at least one of them before I buy a new one.

-Have you ever been skinny dipping: nope, but I played strip 20 questions in a friend's pool

-Do you make fun of people: I try not to.

-Have you ever been convicted of a crime: Nope

-One pillow or two: 2 big fluffy ones and sometimes I steal a third from my husband for my legs

-Pets: None

-Favorite Movies: all of the Star Wars films (yes, even the prequels), all of the Indiana Jones movies, Shawshank Redemption, Space Balls, Pulp Fiction, Goonies, Annie (hey, there are only so many redheaded role models), The Wizard of Oz. I'm sure there are more. If I think of them I'll update this.

-Favorite type of music: Alternative Rock, Ska, New Wave, 80s Rock

-Hobbies: Watching TV, Net surfing, shopping, writing epinions, taking hot showers (I know that last one isn't really a hobby, but man is it relaxing)

-Word or Phrase you overuse: "Obviously," "Really," "OK," and "Like" (but not in a Valley-girl way)

-Toothpaste: Sensodyne

-Piercing or tattoos: I have pierced ears and always wear the same tiny hoops. I had my navel pierced, but I think the hole is completely closed now.

-Do you get along with your parents: As much as anyone else

-Favorite beer: Corona Light but only with a slice of lime, Honey Brown is OK, but I'd rather have hard cider

-Favorite song at the moment: "Lonely" by Akon

-Most humiliating moment: Well I've done the usual "Where are my glasses?" routine and then found them on my head or right in front of me a million times. I'm sure there are a gazillion embarrassing moments I've had, but the only one that comes to mind now is one from when I was little. The teacher was going around the room asking people what their favorite food is and I kept racking my brain trying to decide. I'd finally resolved on answering "hamburger" when it was my turn. Unfortunately, the teacher decided to move on to the next question when she got up to me. So my answer to "What's your favorite color?" was "hamburger." Hey, don't scoff, that can be pretty embarrassing for a 6 year old.

Favorite Holiday: Christmas
