Pros: Spectacular screen, good keyboard, utterly ridiculous battery life.
Cons: Rather heavy, looks kind of boring.

Bug fixes (Reply to this comment)

With regards to the fan problem - I had the same experience; my fan wouldn't run even if the laptop was getting hot enough to fry eggs on it. The solution is to either install a program called 'rain' if you are running Windows 95/8/ME or simply to run Windows XP. When the CPU is idling, Windows 95/8/ME does not issue a command to halt unused processor resources. NT/2000/XP does - and the machine runs much cooler as a result.

The mouse/touchpad problem can be fixed as well. When the computer is booting up, go into BIOS by pressing F1 (setup key). Look through the various BIOS menu options - there should be one for allowing dynamic switching of mouse and touchpad. I enabled this feature and it works fine now.

Thanks for sharing, I am looking at one for my son, he loves to email friends in TN and I seem to be on the internet way too much lately.

Peace,

Pam
