Well, it's a good thing you've learned that your wife is always right.... but this time is the exception that proves the rule.

Doesn't really matter, but something like that will stick out to people familiar with such things. :)
No putting down your writing though! This is much better than I could ever do and I'm twice as old as you were when you wrote it!

Hi Jenny!
Thanks for reading this, it's not up to what I'd write nowadays (I like to flatter myself to believe that, anyway!!), but it does have its redeeming qualities. Glad you're enjoying reading them! :-)

Hi Caroline!
I and the wife agree, we've always known it as "Over and Out", so it must be right!! :-P
Thanks for the feedback. Looking back on some of my writing now I'm quite appalled, but that's life!
Cheers,

Sorry it took me so long to start the series. I most enjoyed them. This last chapter was the best yet!

Nice cliffhanger on this one!
I'm sorry it took me so long to read chapter 5, I had completely forgotten. One minor note about that one: you used the phrase, "Over and out." I may be wrong, but I don't think I am in saying that's not correct. It's either "over" meaning I'm finished speaking and await a response, or "out" meaning the conversation is finished. At least that's what I was taught on the railroad where we used radio communication a great deal.
The 20-some minute to repair the nuclear reactor is a bit unbelievable, as is the boss not knowing about the imminent danger.
The trial gets a bit bogged down, I think you could perhaps tighten it up a bit but, overall, nicely done. I promise to keep up with the episodes properly now :)
