The Bottom Line I'm always looking for meaningful songs sung beautifully. If you have a candidate, please share it with me in the comment section.
As my list will show beyond doubt, the music of the 1960s made a still-lasting impression on my younger self. Even now, by and large, I prefer music with a message. As a result, music with political themes, folk rock, and ethnic music from many cultures are my preferred easy listening. Im not into overpoweringly loud music of any kind. Give me something that touches my mind and my heart, and Im happy. I believe a beautiful and meaningful song sung beautifully as perhaps the greatest gift one human can give another. By my accounting, Ave Maria sung by the young Israeli performer Noa (Achinoam Nini) is the most hauntingly beautiful song Ive ever heard. For all those favorites Ive left off the list, forgive me. Responding to this challenge proved much more difficult than I anticipated. . . .
