The Bottom Line This is my personal list of my all-time favorite Big Bands, Choirs, Composers & Orchestras as a part of my continuing A to Z MUSIC Write-Off
After having what I feel was a fabulous Music Artist A to Z Write-Off recently with over 60 entries and still growing I decided to make a second list of favorites. My first list I must admit got way out of control as I read other entries and said to myself "I can't believe I forgot that Artist, they just have to be on my list as well". Well it totally got out of control and began to get a life of it's own. So let me first apologize to everyone for a list that I know is way, way, way too big and is a little outrageous. I also noticed there was a lot of Big Band artists, Choirs, Orchestras and Classical Composers that were cropping up on my list as well making it even longer/bigger and more outrageous.
So I decided to remove ALL of the artists/composers in those categories and make a separate list of them in a separate posting. In my very large, extensive library of over 1,500 CD's and still growing I have all of these artists and composers listed below also in my collection. Over the past week I have listened to over 50 of these CD's at work during the day between in-coming phone calls and during the 4 to 6 hours I spend on line every night. Most of these artists below are on Various Artists Greatest Hits Compilation CD's and some of these are anywhere from a 3-CD set to a 20-CD set. Almost all of the Classical Composers are in one large 10-CD Box set titled "Masters Of Classical Music" that has 106 tracks on it. I have listed next a few of my favorite Big Band, Classical, Choir and Orchestra Albums and CD's in my collection next.

Well that's all I have for now BUT, I reserve the right to add to it at anytime in the future should some others come to mind. I counted my CD's and Albums I have the the groups listed above and over the last 30 years I have amassed 97 separate ones not counting the 2 or more sets, box sets etc.
I'm always looking for stuff to add to my collection including used ones in decent condition and especially if I find them in one of those dirt-cheap bins you see sometimes in stores like Wal-Mart. Okay Wal-Mart, you got your plug here today so I want some free music, do you hear me? Besides most of my music over the last 20 years has either come from Wal-Mart, walmart.com, amazon.com or cduniverse.com just to name my favorites. I believe there are about 15 different sites on line that I have used and a dozen or so walk-in stores in this town?
Well this has been a lot of fun putting together again. I have been able to listen to a ton of music that has been gathering dust for quite a few years. In case anyone is wondering when am I going to get back to my real music artist postings, I hope that will be sometime in July if I am lucky and everything falls into place? I have been working on my next artist off and on for 3 weeks now and maybe will have more time to devote to them soon?
