Pros: Has attachments, and is bagless. Cheap Price.
Cons: It doesn't vacuum the carpet correctly. Hard to push.
The Bottom Line: Save your money and shop for another vacuum. This one is impossible to adjust the correct height for the carpet. Doesn't pick up reliably.

Recently I sent my husband for a stick vacuum. I wanted something that was light and fast to pick up crumbs that the kids predictably end up putting on the floor.
I should have known better then to send him but I thought who can mess up picking up a stick vacuum. He did that’s who!
He came back with a GE Upright Vacuum 169131 . I just didn’t say anything and decided that I would try the vacuum to see if I liked it.
Pros
It has an adjustable handle that goes up or down to accommodate the height of the person running it. That’s why he bought the thing so our 32 month old son could run it.
It has the usual tools on board the brush and corner piece and of course the hose.
It doesn’t require a bag and the dust canister is easy to empty.
The hose is long enough to vacuum one room without changing sockets.
The GE Upright Vacuum 169131 has an adjustable knob to use on high or low carpet and a few lines between these two are supposed to give you every height of carpet you have.
The cord hooks are on the side of the vacuum and I like this feature.
Hepa filter.
Cons
The vacuum does not pick up crumbs or anything else. You have to go over the same spot again and again.
It is heavy to push and lift. It is more work then sweeping the carpet.
The height control on low is for laminate floors and vinyl, short carpet. When I try to use the correct setting the GE Upright Vacuum 169131 is so hard to push it is next to impossible to vacuum. I have tried other settings but none of them do a good job.
For my kitchen floors the vacuum works great but for carpet it is a lemon.
There is a two year conditional warranty on the vacuum.
Conclusion
The GE Upright Vacuum 169131 is one I will not recommend to anyone. It is hard to vacuum carpet and is heavy to push. All the pros listed above are useless on this vacuum.
The canister that holds the dirt and crumbs is easy to remove and clean. One side is for larger stuff, and one side holds dust etc. It seems to pick up the dust and find particles but leaves everything else.
To Clean; I usually empty the canister every time I use it and I wash the container in warm soapy water let it dry and put it back.
The brushes are not bushy and are sparsely spaced which might be the whole problem.
The GE Upright Vacuum 169131 was very cheap at 59.00.
My robot vacuum does a better job at cleaning the then upright vacuum does.
Save your time and money and look for another vacuum.
