I like it.....
Written: Oct 23 '01
Okay, I have had VS in the past. I liked it for a while. Then one day when I was going to work, I looked at my cell, and noticed that from block to block, my signal was going up and down. Usually, with any other phone, like my Verizon phone, the signal is universally sound. With VS, nope! When I can get a good strong signal, my calls are much better than Cingular's! I have the 400 anytime and 2000 weekend for $39.99 right now. My contract will end December of this year. I won't be signing another contract, simply because, if I can't get good signal at my house (which I can't!!!!!), or from block to block, I would rather pay $35.00 a month for 400 peak and 2000 off peak, and I am able to talk at home, and keep a conversation going down the road! In any event, VS's cells are pretty good phones. I do like that fact that you can take the SIM card out and put it into another cell equipped for GSM networks. With Verizon, and Sprint, you can't do that, but personally, I would rather have to have two phone numbers and be able to talk, than have one and not be able to talk (because of signal strength, or the lack there of)!!!!! I also like the fact that with VS cells, you can have ringtones downloaded to your cell. Again, I would rather stick with the original tones then not be able to hear them (because of signal strength, or the lack there of)!!! Anyways, I will not be signing another contract. I do not recomend this service.
