The Bottom Line this w/o is bananas! b-a-n-a-n-a-s!

1. What are your favorite sports to watch on television?

Football, most of the time. I also like watching the Detroit Pistons because of Ben Wallace's hustle and Rip Hamilton's silky jump shot.

2. How often do you watch sports on television?

Not too often. I don't have ESPN!

3. What are your favorite sports to watch live?

Eh, I went to a Metrostars game once. Clint Mathis had a mohawk. The "star" of the other team didn't do anything but walk around for a while.

Oh yeah, I went to the US Open but I had cruddy seats and it was just first round stuff. But by the end people started leaving and soon I was only a few feet away from Lleyton Hewitt!

4. How many live sporting events do you typically attend annually?

0-1. I really need to change that...I guess I can watch the Knicks, and maybe go to Giants-Cowboys games. Problem is, my friends aren't too big on pro sports. I will go to the US Open this year.

5. What organized team sports have you ever participated in previously?

I played JV Tennis in high school freshman-junior year (JV co-captain my junior year! Not very impressive, I know...) and varsity tennis my senior year. I played second doubles (not very impressive I know), but we were like #5 in the county or something and finished 16-7 if I remember correctly. It is the sole athletic accomplishment of my life. Freshman year of college I gained 20 pounds. Yeah.

.6. What organized individual sports have you participated in previously?

Tennis would have been an individual sport if I made singles! The top three players on the team get those spots. I finished #9. Yeah. I even wasn't even supposed to make the varisty cut-off because I was slumping hard, but the coach pratically just gave me the spot. I didn't deserve it, that's for sure. Thanks, coach.

7. What pick-up sports have you participated in previously?

I play basketball (I refuse to call it "ball" or what I do "ballin'") sometimes. I kind of suck because all I do is try to drive in and do behind-the-back passes and behind-the-head passes and no-look passes. Basically I am Jason Williams of 5 years ago. I am the king of turnovers.

8. What sports or outdoor activities do you currently participate in?

Tennis.

9. How often?

Only about once a week, but I do really want to play more often.

10. Is there any sport that you wish you could participate in now?

Football. I always had a pretty good arm but my hands can't really grip an NFL size football that well and I am scared of really big dudes. Once I played football with some of the kids from my high school team and I never got tackled or made a tackle. I caught two passes and scampered for touchdowns (and actually broke this kid's ankle! He whimpered that he sprained it or something...). I never dropped a pass on purpose or anything, but didn't really try my best to get open when there were any really big dudes around. While I never got tackled, I will say that blocking a 200 pound dude is pretty impossible for my 140 pound (back before I gained a bunch of weight) frame.

11. What’s keeping you from doing it?

Big people scare me. Plus there aren't football leagues or anything like that that I know of...

12. If your fairy godmother was going to give you all the skill and a job in pro sports, what sport would you play?

Football QB. You think Doug Flutie was small? I'm a half-inch shorter! I'll have to jump to see over the linemen to see anything, but hey. I'll do better than Drew Bledsoe. Promise.

Or give me a 200 mph tennis serve and I'll just take it from there...

13. What team and position (if relevant)?

Dallas Cowboys QB, number 2 or 13. That punter dude has #1.

14. What beer would you promote as a sports celebrity? (OK, that was just to make certain Bruguru, Marty and Fuche participate)

Corona. A non-beer drinker's beer! But I'd have to wait until I'm 21, right?

15. What brand would you promote?

Is there a brand that doesn't use sweatshops? Cause if they're all the same, I'd have to go with Nike, but if there is a kinder company out there, I'd go with it. Even if it's Lacoste or something.

16. Do you have any sports heroes? Who are they and why are they your heros?

Pete Sampras-possibly the greatest tennis player and the ultimate professional. A guy who wins after puking on the court kind of wins your heart, y'know?

Allen Iverson-he's so tiny on the court but he's afraid of no one. He's so fast that college photographers had trouble taking pictures of him playing; he kept showing up as a blur. He's the bad boy that you can't help but love. Oh, and he's been with his wife since he was 15. Awww.

Ben Wallace-He doesn't score that much, but he does everything else right on the court. He hustles for those rebounds and you can see that he's trying 100% every time he plays. And unlike Sheed, he can play physical without fouling out of every other game and knows better than to get in referees' faces. The only defensive specialist to ever get featured on a video game cover that I know of (besides Ray Lewis and any goalies on hockey games. They get paid just to play defense).

17. If you could invent a new sport, no matter how absurd, what would it be?

Calvinball, though Bill Waterson gets credit for all that.

Ok, so now I have to write a review on some sport I usually don't play. Hmm...maybe I'll hit the batting cages...
