I wish she had never been involved with "Nancy Kerrigan" during that incident at the Olympic trials back in 1994. Thanks for your comment Peggy and by the way I also liked Kerrigan a lot as well. Here is a partial list of some of my other all-time favorite Female figure and speed skaters.

I loved this chick too (she's an Oregonian, how can I not?) It's too bad she got influenced by lousy people and her career ended the way it did. She was actually ahead of her time - now athleticism is accepted in skating and without it, skaters have a hard time due to new scoring system.

When I was a teen I was very good at skating, riding a skateboard, jumping rope and using a hula hoop. I tried using a hula hoop last year at my Mother's house in Virginia during our family reunion and I really sucked bad at it. I couldn't even make one decent rotation.
I'm probably no good anymore at riding a skateboard, jumping rope or roller skating either.

...(that is, no trick-knee; less weight; etc.), it would be fun to figure-skate and roller-skate to all kinds of great music.
One sport that I was a dud in until my sixth-grade teacher taught the class how to do it in all sorts of fancy ways was jumping rope.
Once I got the hang of it, I was really going great guns--and, then, my naughty knee started doing its nasty tricks, making me have to give it up.
I think that my favorite sport has always been swimming.

Thanks for the entry, Ron. Your new sport idea is interesting, but I had to wonder what the uniforms would look like. That would obviously be a very important aspect in this endeavor.

Your new sport idea is great, along with some of your picks for sport heroes. Maria Sharapova and Anna K are great, other than the fact Maria is a winner, while Anna never won a damn thing in her whole life other than a lot of money from endorsements. But she still is hot!
