Pros: Easy to use, Will prepare you for more complex programs when you are ready
Cons: Doesn't take some formats
Some synths won't work with it
The Bottom Line: If you don't know too much about mp3 downloading, burning and storing, then this is a great buy. It will teach you alot.

| damiansmith's Full Review: Ricoh Mp3 Music |
Ricoh put out quite an impressing product. If you are a newcommer to the music-creating and mp3 storing world, this is for you. However, this should only be a pit stop on your way to more complex programs and devices. You can learn alot of what you need to know with this, but there is a much more complex side to it that really isn't utilized in this particular player. There is much more you can do as far as creating your own music. Along with this, I would reccommend FruityLoops audio recording software, and any type of Mp3 organizing program. There are literally hundreds out there, so get out there and do some research. This is reasonably priced, so it's not gonna put that much of a dent in this month's paycheck. So go online and look around. You won't find better startoff hardware, i guarantee it.
