My kids loved this when we visited. You can keep all of Clifton Hill, but we had to go back a second time and ride the boat. I thought the price was really reasonable - we might go back next summer if I can take some friends of ours too.

I grew up less than 25 miles from the Falls, and have never been on the Maid of the Mist. Ain't that always the way of it?

I find your whole tale fraught with misconceptions and believe you made it up just to trump me.
I find it almost impossible to believe that such an Epinions institution actually imbibes alcohol.
Nice try Doc, but there's now way you could have been drunk.

I've met Virginia... we got drunk together one night at Mulligans in Richmond watching my daughter and her grandaughter tear up the karaoke stage...

For once you have visited a place where I have been and loved. The first time I was on the Maid of the Mist I was about fifteen years old and it was very, very exciting. Since then there has been a rock slide of one of the cliffs, and the falls changed a bit. I have loved the Maid of the Mist a couple of times since then, and just the falls in general. The last time it was from the Canadian side. We didn't take the boat, but did observe the lights playing on the falls at night. It was absolutely beautiful. It was also the first and last time I ever saw a totally black squirrel. Hope you and your Mrs. enjoyed your trip to the States - and the next time you might want to venture further South toward Knoxville.

Plenty of kids on our trip and the expressions on their faces at the falls was fun to watch. When he's older I intend to take my Godson.

last summer - the falls are so huge, the trip is the best way to get a feel for their power.
