Who's the fairest of them all? (42ENGLISH's w/o)Jul 13 '05 Write an essay on this topic. The Bottom Line Beauty is only skin deep, but we all do try to put on our "best face", don't we? Julie's w/o (42ENGLISH) For more information on this fun write-off, see Julie's invitation: Unisex Beauty Write-Off 1. What is you favorite perfume/cologne? OPIUM, my hands down favorite; it smells soooo good. (Only wear on special occasions though; gotta watch that sensitive skin of mine.) 2. Do you self-tan, sunbathe or get yours from mowing the lawn? I am shamefully pale and only have a slight tan on my arms. I think we used to call them: 'farmer tans' or 'trucker tans'. 3. How long does it take you to get ready to go out on the town? Depends where we're going, not really big on going out too much, but probably about 45 minutes to an hour. If I'm going to a wedding though, I take more time to get ready. (I go to a lot of weddings.) 4. Where would you go out-on-the-town? Usually just out for dinner. California is extremely casual too, so just about anything goes. 5. If you had the opportunity to have plastic surgery on one part of your body, which would it be? My chubby tummy, for sure. 6. How often do you have a full body massage and by whom? I've had them a few times on occasion, from both male and female massage therapists. Tend to be somewhat shy about this sort of thing with a stranger. If I can get over my discomfort, they do feel great and help me relax though. 7. Do you prefer The Body Shop, Bath & Body Works or Walmart? We don't have a Walmart near us, so I don't go too often. Actually the Bath and Body Shop doesn't really thrill me with my sensitive skin. We don't have a Body Shop that I know of. (I can't use all those lotions anyway, so why bother?). I guess I'll have to go with "none of the above". 8. How many bathing tools are in your shower/tub now? A puff, a backscrubber brush, a pumice stone and a nail brush making a total of 4. 9. Which bath soap/body wash do you prefer? The two I like the most I've both reviewed; it's the "Olay Complete Body Wash" (with or without Shea Butter). 10. Are you blonde, brunette or redhead and is it natural? I'm still a natural (chestnut) brunette. I don't have any gray, which is sort of unusual given my advanced age. I take after my Mom's side of the family who have been lucky enough not to go gray until very late in life. I've experimented with being auburn and blonde too. Both were fun. I got a little bit carried away being a blond though; had way too much fun for my own good. Tee hee. 11. What is your skin type? It used to be dry, it is dry now and in the future it will still be dry. 12. Boxers, BVDs, granny, bikini or thong? Depends (not DEPENDS!) what I pull out the drawer that day, but never a thong. 13. What part of the body of the opposite sex attracts you the most? As many have said, I do like (blue, brown, green, hazel, gray, etc.) eyes very much, but how about the voice, does that count? A masculine voice sure does catch my attention. Oh, and strong arm muscles are very nice too. 14. What part of the body of the opposite sex attracts you the least? I'll have to go with Deb's answer of nasty teeth; I don't think I've seen any knobby knees mentioned. Feet don't really bother me; I generally don't look that far down, I guess. 15. What do you consider to be your best physical asset? Well, I've been complimented on my white teeth. Most days, I'm satisfied with my hair too. Thanks Julie! What a fun review to write. |
