The Bottom Line My edition of the TV Write Off...It would have been much easier ten years ago.
This is my entry into snik1s television write off. Most Enjoyable Comedy On The Air: OK, are you counting only series that have new episodes being produced or any comedy currently being aired which could mean almost anything???? Well I will go with the latter and say M*A*S*H. Timeless comedy that may even have some things to say about present events. I also liked Frasier and continue to watch it in syndication. Comedy Where You Can Tell They Use A Laugh Track: How about MASH? Well, then again that was common knowledge. I will have to go with the common answer of Disney comedies. Best Canceled Comedy/Sitcom: Well, I assume by canceled early so I will have to go with Sports Night. I loved that show and thought they had a great cast. Most Entertaining Drama: I never watch dramas anymore. Most Overexposed/Overrated Drama: All of todays shows that have two or three versions of the same thing. Maybe someday we can be back to have original ideas on television? No? Show You Just Never Got Around To Watching: Lost Best Reality Show: You mean the unreality reality shows? Hey I have work for reality, the last thing I want when I go home to relax is a reality show. I rather have comedy or something that gets me thing of something else than reality. However, I do like the type of reality shows that help people such as Extreme Makeover Home Edition and Clean Sweep. Guilty Pleasure Reality Show: See Above Show You Liked At First, But Suddenly Stopped Watching: I cant think of anything lately. Stopped watching Star Trek: Enterprise in the third season but that was because we cut the cable and couldnt get the UPN station. Most Entertaining Animated Show: I will have to say King of the Hill. A Show Past its Prime: Survivor, Simpsons, ER, etc A Show Thats Received Too Much Hype: Almost any reality show on television seems to get too much hype. Most Overrated Show In The History Of Mankind: Sienfeld especially when it got the greatest comedy of all time award. A Show You Wish They Had Made A Long Time Ago; Or At Least Renewed: There is a ton of shows that can fit into this category. I am one of the weird ones that wished that Star Trek: Enterprise continued. But oh well Epinions Member That Should Have Their Own Show: Well, I do not know other members well enough yet to say. Underrated Show On An Otherwise Corny Network: What do you define as a corny network? All of them could quality these days. But I will have to say Clean Sweep. It is reality, but it helps people, is funny, and has great people in the show. Your Opinion Of The Emmys: A bunch of well paid entertainers spending the night praising their fellow entertainers who they probably despise . Most Interesting/Funny Commercials: Some of the NAPA commercials featuring Michael Waltrip. Also the UPS commercials featuring Dale Jarrett with them trying to convince him to drive the big brown truck in the races. Commercials You See Too Often: Geico (kill the Gecko!), Jared and Subway, all the ads for the new drugs that have side effects that are worst than the thing they are trying to cure. Will You Add snik1 To Your Trust List: We will see. |
