I was contacted by the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office in June 2008, after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau concerning RideGear. Evidently there is a continuing pattern of customers ordering items, then being ignored by this company. In my opinion, this is beyond just poor customer service and poor management, this borders on fraud. I got my money back through the credit card company, after these folks didn't send the items I ordered, and totally ignored my attempts to find out why. I don't understand how they are staying in business. They advertise items as being "in stock", but then don't ship anything. The customer service phone number is a joke. They put you on hold automatically, play an advertisement for you to listen to, and then hang up on you. I tried at different times of the day, on different days, and never got through to anyone. I then tried to contact them through e-mail, but again was ignored. The website is fully functional, takes your order, but folks in the warehouse are evidently not doing their jobs. Look at the series of complaints, and you will understand why ordering here may be just asking for trouble.
