Romasuave's 100th Review Write Off....
Jul 21 '05
The Bottom Line The Bottom Line is wasting away in margaritaville.
To commemorate Roman's 100th review, He decided to stick with his roots and do another Write-off (he is always doing write offs!), this one about us here at epinions and our personal epinion stats and factoids. Please be as complete as you wish and he looks forward to reading many reviews.
Member Name and meaning behind it (if there is one)
DrDevience. This started as a nick name surrounding my job as a criminologist, and just kinda over time became my identity everywhere.

How I stumbled upon Epinions
I was very into a game called Gemstone III and was cruising member sites dealing with the game when one of them had a banner for Epinions. I normally am not a banner clicker, but that one caught my eye and got me curious... so here I am 3 years later still. They really do need to restart that referal program.

My very first review (with link and description)
Very first was a book.. Who Moved My Cheese or some such drivel. I wrote about two really sarcastic paragraphs and was shocked.. shocked I tell you.. that it wasn't met with awards. I have since deleted it. heh.
The 3 favorite reviews that Ive written (with links)
Oh hell, I don't know. Too lazy to scroll back through them all.
My most complete review
Again. L.A.Z.Y.
My most successful Write-Off (If I wrote one, include link)
Only hosted one, on my one year anniversary. It was a Medieval w/o of course, and the links live on my profile still.
Favorite W/O I participated in (with link)
The annual Lean-n-Mean write offs are my very fave. I seriously think we're getting too full of ourselves and expecting too much out of reviews for a consumer site.... I think the l-n-m write off every year is a valiant effort to get back to where we should be.
Do we need those long, professional reviews? Yes! Absolutely! But those should not be the base by which others are measured.
My most lucrative review (with link and $$$ earned)
A damn golf cart, which has now almost paid for itself off the review. coool. Bag Boy Express = $78.71 so far.
Things I like most about Epinions
The people. No matter what I do now, even if I left Eps, I have made some friendships which go beyond and will endure. (I'm not completely leaving... just doling my time out to more lucrative ventures)
And oh yeah... cat fights. rawr!
Things I dislike most about Epinions
I'm not gonna go there right this minute.
Members I admire most on Epinions
Sordid-1 and AggieBrett.
Sorry, but there it is. These two have more intelligence and wit in their little finger than half the Eps population combined, and they are not afraid to call things as they see it. They are not totally gone, but gone enough, and we are the poorer for it.
And I can not possibly leave out Marcy. What's not to admire there?
My ultimate goal at Epinions
Duh! To take over the world! I mean, after The Grim One does.. to dethrone him.
It's all about a rev-o-lution uh huhhhh
