Date I joined Epinions June 8, 2003. How I stumbled upon Epinions I love reading book reviews, and discovered it while googling some books I was curious to read about. I used Epinions a lot while pregnant to choose my babies gear, and while I was home on maternity leave actually joined and started reviewing. I took an almost 1 year hiatus when I returned to work though, too hard adjusting to working and mothering to fit in the internet as well. I sure am glad to be back!! Number of member visits 3,706. Is that good? Number of total visits 28,268. They like me, they really like me!! My very first review (with link and description) Fisher Price Learning Patterns Jungle Pal Music Mirror. Started out helpful but made it to very with some help from wonderful members. I've made $.23 outta that baby!! Bring it on!! The 3 favorite reviews that I’ve written (with links) 1. If I had a choice : It was my first essay here, and about a subject I have strong opinions on, circumcision 2. Kept me up at night: A review of my favorite book. the book is super complicated so it was a long job to write the review, but really fun. I wish I could get just one person to read this book!!! 3. Blech...barf...someone hold my hair up!!!: A review of my least favorite book. It is just so much fun ripping a book apart!!! Strange how none of my favorites are in Beauty, where I hold my hat. Something to ponder at night...why oh why?? My most complete review Peg Perego Venezia Single SA - Black Sable Stroller: I said everything a person could possibly say about this stroller, and more. My most successful Write-Off (If I wrote one, include link) Never wrote one...but my 100th is coming up, I should start thinking!!! Favorite W/O I participated in (with link) Umm, this one. Ok, seriously. Not to put down the really fun ones I've participated in recently, but I loved Pnutmom's Pet Peeves W/O in August 2003. Writing and reading about the things that annoy us is so much fun, until you read something and think "Damn, I do that!". My most lucrative review (with link and $$$ earned) Wow smooth and sparkly teeth-Sonicare Elite 7500 Series. Made $10.33 on that baby!! Things I like most about Epinions I love writing and talking about the things I enjoy, and this is the perfect place to do it. It gives me a chance to stop being a mom, wife and social worker, and just be unashamed unbarred me. I have made some great friends here...and secret enemies...muahhhhh. Things I dislike most about Epinions People who give me one low rating in a sea of high ones, and don't explain. People who I comment on, add to my WOT and clearly admire, who don't even bother to read and rate one of my reviews. No, I don’t want them to add me to their WOT if they don't want to, but at least check me out. Oh, and it bugs me to see my WOT go down, but not know who left. Members I admire most on Epinions So many, but let me think of a few: Gaviesgal: Not so much for her reviews (though I enjoy them), as she is a newbie and still learning...but she is my best friend in real life and I admire her tremendously for all she has gone through and overcome, and all the positive changes she has made happen in her life. jbsassypants She is hot, managed to turn me on at work, writes humorous reviews...oh did I say she is hot?? Pattytherre: Excellent reviews, tries a lot of products I wont pay for, and says it like it is. rated-r: A new discovery of mine, a different look at religion. I always knew I wasn't sure about it, but could not put into words why. He has done so...without caring who he pees off. Me, I am scared of peeing someone off (right off of my WOT) just by writing this paragraph!! My ultimate goal at Epinions I finally made top reviewer in beauty, and am really proud of that. I think I'd like to make it to advisor one day. Also, I'd like to make some money. I live in Canada, and cannot redeem until I hit $100.
