It's interesting that you think of "If I Could Turn Back Time" as a sad song since I always associate it with happy times at karaoke. It's all in the context, I guess.

People laugh at ABBA, but they were always, like, totally emotional and stuff.
They put out some great music...wonderful harmony. And that's what always draws me the quickest, the voices.

Actually, it was just a cheesily staged suicide scene in a bad teen film called 'Rules of Attraction'. I had nothing better to do for those 2 hours. Oh well.
Funny how many songs we relate to movies.

"One of Us" almost made my list. I had way too many songs to include (and I still included way too many), so I'm glad someone else is reduced to a wreck by the song the way I am. People laugh at ABBA, but they were always, like, totally emotional and stuff.

ooh, harry nilsson's 'without you'.
I watched a girl in a film drown herself in a tub while playing that song. My desensitized psyche was quite pleased upon seeing that.

...I remember hearing Someday, We'll Be Together on my recently-deceased oldies station and thinking of him!
It's a wonder that somebody didn't snatch me up in a butterfly net! LOL
Speaking of this studmuffin and butterfly nets...somebody needs to snatch him up in one, lock him in a rubber room, and tell him that, if he wants to get out, he'd better write something new here!
