Newegg.com offers the best service out of any of the computer/electronics online stores that i have ever shopped from. I've bought online from bestbuy, circuity city, various ebay stores, dell, hp, and many others and newegg is the best.
Why?
- Great prices, its hard to beat the deals newegg has
- Easy to follow website, from logging on to ordering its a piece of cake
- Plenty of customer reviews for help on deciding if you want a product or not, and the reviews are easy to sort through. (i.e. you can see all the reviews based upon the # of stars a user gave) I find this excellent since i can click on '1 star' and see all the reviews that gave that product just 1 star instead of having to sift through hundreds of reviews.
- Customer service is excellent, quick and some of the best in the business
- Shipping is fast, and cheap! I dont get overcharged for shipping, and often times you can get 3 day shipping for FREE.
- Detailed product listings, with full specs for majority of the items
- Easy to track your order on their website, i knew exactly where my order was from newegg to my door.
The only con i have about newegg is that they didn't make it clear when i was ordering my brother a hard drive that it wasn't going to come in an OEM box. It came to my door in special electronic packaging instead, but it was still packed well and it doesn't really bother me all that much since i didnt need any of the documentation anyway. Not enough to take away a star!
