Wow, has it been a whole year already? It seems like almost yesterday that I entered Puckmugger's 1st Sports Write Off and now I have an invitation for the the 2nd Annual Write Off. I can't believe a whole year has gone by! Well, I've been putting this one off but time is running away so I best get this done before an invite has been sent out for the 3rd Annual Sports Challenge Write Off! Here are the questions from Puckmugger and my answers: 1. What are your favorite sports to watch on television? Gymnastics, Football, Baseball and Nascar (in no particular order) 2. How often do you watch sports on television? Just about every weekend! 3. What are your favorite sports to watch live? See question number! 4. How many live sporting events do you typically attend annually? I'd have to say on average 10-12. Geaux Tigers! 5. What organized team sports have you ever participated in previously? Moi?? I guess you could say Church Softball Team, that's about it and many years ago. And I also bowled on a league many moons ago. 6. What organized individual sports have you participated in previously? None! 7. What pick-up sports have you participated in previously? Is this a trick question? Let me think a minute on this one. Oh, I've got it...I've picked up sports cards, does that count? 8. What sports or outdoor activities do you currently participate in? Tailgating, bowling, camping, fishing and boating. 9. How often? As often as possible. Outdoors is much better than indoors! 10. Is there any sport that you wish you could participate in now? Nah, not at my age. Now if you could bring me back to youth, we would consider gymnastics. 11. What’s keeping you from doing it? I'm too old...quit that snickering! 12. If your fairy godmother was going to give you all the skill and a job in pro sports, what sport would you play? Bowling? I dunno. 13. What team and position (if relevant)? N/A 14. What beer would you promote as a sports celebrity? (OK, that was just to make certain Bruguru, Marty and Fuche participate) Budweiser, it's the King of Beer! Nah, it's the frog commercials! 15. What brand would you promote? New Balance, good shoes and they seem to be the underdog. 16. Do you have any sports heroes? Who are they and why are they your heroes? Lance Armstrong, he is a great athlete and doesn't give up (on life either)! 17. If you could invent a new sport, no matter how absurd, what would it be? A Sex-A-Thon, just checking to see if you are still reading this, LOL! Well, I can't think of anything so may as well be entertaining! In closing I may add that I managed to beat the deadline and avoid being painted purple by Puckmugger. I think he forgot that being painted purple (and gold) is a thing to be proud of in Tiger Country!
