What a fun review to read! (Reply to this comment)

I'm a Valerie Harper and Michele Lee fan, too. Sounds like a show I would also enjoy.

I think it's very interesting . . . (Reply to this comment)

that no one mentioned the author . . . Charles Busch, who is not only gay but is also famous female impersonator. He originally wrote this role for himself, but not one of the four reviews I read mentioned that and most likely no one even knew it.
Very nice review and I wish I were able to get to New York to see it.
Lori: Thanks for the wonderfully supportive comment on my latest piece.

My husband felt the same way about The Allergist, he felt it was unoriginal. Believe it or not, the standing room only seats are $25 a ticket. But, you've got to get there at about 5:30 a.m.!
thanks for reading.

You can now get tickets to The Producers ... (Reply to this comment)

if you're willing to pay $480/seat. And I bet they'll all be snatched up, too.
I saw The Allergist's Wife, but wasn't that impressed (I'd probably give it 3 stars). Too sitcom-like for my tastes.
Of course, I was suffering from a bad cold that day which might have dampened my appreciation ...
Nice review.

It's bad enough having to contend with that behavior at the movies...but the theatre; forget it. I appreciate you taking the time to read my review. Will reciprocate!

Thank you (Reply to this comment)

I just wanted to thank you for understanding the difference between baseball and theatre. I've been sitting near too many people recently who do not know the difference. And these people have better seats than I did. I decided there should be a test to see who gets which seats. If you do well, you can sit in the front orchestra. If you get a lot wrong, it's the back of the mezzanine for you!
