Deifnitly some great, moving songs. A Song For Assata was just beautiful. The way the music, story, lyrics, audio clips were seamlessly blended together made it one of the best songs out there. The audio clip of Ms Shakur saying "I know more about what freedom is not, than what freedom is." That was a moving song all together, and hopefully it did shed light on her situation for those who had never heard the story. And as for Sam Cooke, as you said simply "the greatest".

you was gonna include Sam on here. That is probably the most sad and depressing yet hopeful and poignant soul song ever. "What's Going On" close on its heels. The scene in Malcolm X where they played this right before he got shot makes it that much more intense.
