ed grover: current information

The Bottom Line Now is the time to let Ed know how much we appreciate him.
Epinions member ed grover has cancer, and it's terminal. Originally found in the lower back,it was discovered also in the chest; and while the amount of time he has left is uncertain the eventual result is not.
Ed is being well cared for in his home, yet he has reached the point at which he can anticipate feeling a sense of relief when all his affairs will have been settled and he will have entered a hospice -- probably a few months from now.
And having reached this point he has given me permission to inform the Epinions community of his condition. Ed asks that you refrain from sending him "mushy-gushy" emails, but affectionate and appreciative messages would please him.
Epinions member pogomom plans to keep Ed's site status permanently 'active' and perhaps even rotate those delightful pictures/representations of him on a seasonal basis as he has done. Many more people who have yet to 'meet' ed grover will be able to access his reviews and be informed, entertained, and perhaps even enlightened, as we have been.
I shall update this message or post a new one when major changes occur.
Now is the time to let Ed know -- in a dignified way, if possible! -- how much we appreciate him.
Anything else I could say at this point would be mushy and gushy in the extreme.
