I had to save this one for a quieter time to read it. And I've got to hand it to you, man. You've really pegged it all, not just the warm fuzzy part of it, but the whole reality of it too. There are struggles, and a lot of people just don't manage to outlast them. But seeing your whole "story", just WOW! Sometimes I think memory is one of our greatest gifts, 'cause there are so many great stories out there to hear, and you never know where the next one lies...
Congrats to the both of you, and best wishes!
I'd say "good luck", but luck is no factor. I've totally got to check out some of these songs now...

I just got married last Saturday, and I remember (before we got engaged) being mocked by my now-wife with that White Trash Wedding tune from the Dixie Chicks. Sounds like you're going to have a fantastic ceremony. Great write-up and best regards to the bride and groom!
