Great little cam

Pros: Inexpensive, light weight, very useful. Good images for wallet size photos
Cons: Lack of film support from polaroid or other film makers. Better in ways than digital
The Bottom Line: If you are a fan of Polaroid type cameras, this is a good one. It developes like sx70, but cheaper. Sadly film is the problem, can't be found.

This is of course a Polaroid instant camera. But, it gives a wallet sized photograph that is great for giving to those whose photo you wish to take. Even candid shots to keep in one's own wallet are fun. Don't expect studio quality as you'll be disappointed. For those who like to carry lots of photos. it can't be beat. The one problem is finding film. Fuji may make a replacement for Polaroid, but still difficult to locate. It's a shame because the camera had many uses.
I used this camera while traveling. Many of the people would be reluctant to pose or have photos taken for free. Someone wrote an article of how they would use a polaroid or equivalent instant camera to give people images of themselves. The idea of watching one's face appear out of nowhere was a thrill for many, young and old. In another vein, one could get an idea of the frame for the film image they looked to capture. Then along came digital!
The camera was easy to use, very light and not too large. The lens was reasonable and made of glass instead of plastic, I believe. Had I known the film supply would dry up so quickly I'd have bought much more. I do still use a polaroid camera for the same purpose but it's not as convient. The Pro model using 600 series film, such as 669 and667 type, gives more options, such as black/white, but is a medium-format size camera. The SX-70 mdel has a better size but, like the Pro, was/is too expensive initially.
It saddened me when I could no longer find a ready source of film for a useful piece of equipment. Goodbye to a goodbuy, the Mio.
