The Timon & Pumbaa's Jungle Games game is a very fun and entertaining game for any child at heart. When I first tried this game out at my friend's house, I loved it right away. The graphics aren't the best, but the games are fun and the little extras make it hilarious! This Disney game is a great game for any child that wants to play on the computer.
The Games
The first game in The Timon & Pumbaa's Jungle Games game is Burper. This is one of my favorite games. Timon is shaking a tree to make all the little bugs, fruits and the occasional kitchen sink fall from the tree. Pumbaa is on the ground, using the best skill he has. He burps at the things falling from the sky! But make sure not to get hit on the head by the monkey, the spider, the sink or the big bunch of bananas! Or something bad will surely happen.
Then you move on to Jungle Pinball. It is just like a regular pinball game with a couple of Disney twists. There are many levels in this game, and to go up a level you have to get rid of the objects near the top of the screen by hitting them. Some types of the objects are rocks, mushrooms or even butterflies! Another way to move through the levels is by spelling the word GRUB. To spell GRUB, you have to put the ball over the letters when they are red. Always try to get the Hole In One bonus, you'll always get something good with those. Some things you will get with the Hole In One bonus are the extra balls, the double or triple your score, the save ball or the ball guard. They all come in very handy.
Sling Shooter is the next game that you will come upon. In this game, there are different characters from Timon and Pumbaa ( the TV show) plus some other characters just create for this game; running across the screen that you have to shoot. You are giving a certain about of berries and time for each level. Every level, they both go down so you have to go quicker. You use a type of jungle gun to shoot the creatures. But make sure to watch out for Timon, Pumbaa and all the good guys (like the hippo), if you hit them you will lose points. Two hints for this game is to look the bottom for little, little characters and to hit the fish on the waterfall for some extra fun ( you won't get any points for that though).
Have you ever seen Timon and Pumbaa not eating? I didn't think so. In Hippo Hop, Timon and Pumbaa are trying to have a big feast. But Pumbaa forgot a lot of the food. Timon is the one that has to go and get the food for them. Of course that is no easy task. The food is on one side of the river, while the party is at the other side. So
Timon has to cross the river safely. He uses logs, snakes, hippos and crocodiles to pass it. You better help him, or he'll fall in!
Bug Drop is a great classic game in Timon and Pumbaa's Jungle Games. You get to drop two bugs at a time, sometimes they will be the same color, other times different colors. When you get 4 bugs the same color touching each other, they will all burst! But if your opponent bursts to many bugs at a time, you will get some stopper stones which will block of your bugs. If you are lucky, you will get a stink bomb that will burst
a couple bugs for you. Make sure your log doesn't get to the top before your opponent, or you'll lose! Bug Drop can be played with one or two players.
The Extras
The little extras in Timon and Pumbaa's Jungle Games make the game a lot more enjoyable. When you are in the lobby of the game, there are many places you can click for something exciting to happened. They change after every game you play too!! Some of the things that will happened when you click on something on the screen, is that something (like a bird) will fly across the screen. Timon has many unluckily experiences with wild creatures like snakes, crocodiles and even a tiger. If you click on a certain spot in the lake, you get to see Mickey. And the badger is always open for a little chat.
The Graphics
The graphics in Timon and Pumbaa's Jungle Games are done very well, but are not up to the standards of today's graphics. They are fairly simple and cartoonish. But it fits the theme and the game doesn’t surfer at all because of it.
