I have been using CDUniverse a lot of the time when I purchase my music and my DVDs. One of the reasons I come back to this online store is the low prices that they have.
They have probably the best prices for pre-purchases.
For example, they were selling the KISS Deluxe Box Set, which you could probably get it new for about $150-$160 at the cheapest, They were selling it (for a very limited time) for something like $60. The same thing with the Freddie Mercury Box Set. I bought this for $80 which now goes for over $200. And the shipping was only $3.95 and the box set weighs about 11 pounds, and it got here quick.
I always try and look for the best prices for my DVDs. I utilize the DVD Price Search (www.DVDPriceSearch.com) site to find the DVDs I want for the cheapest prices and CD Universe wins out most of the time. So I have to do my shopping there.
Also, what CD Universe offers is low low shipping prices. I only order priority mail, never next day or two day options. But if CD Universe has it in stock I get it in usually 3 - 4 days. To me, that is great service for a very low price.
And speaking of service, I did contact Customer Service twice and the people I talked to could not be more helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this site, and that is some recommendation because it is coming from such a knowledgeable and savvy and thrifty online shopper...Me!
This is the main reason that CD Universe will always have my loyalty, and the one of the first sites I go to when I need to purchase a CD or DVD to add to my grossly oversized collection.
