Over the hill we go...birthday W/OAug 10 '05 Write an essay on this topic.The Bottom Line Birthdays, they are what you make of them...the best of times the worst of times. When is your Birthday: September 20th Would you change your birthday to a different month/date: Well if I had been born nine days earlier I would consider it. But hey, I waited to have this B-Day so I better enjoy it. I was supposed to be born around the first of the month but I must have decided I like it in there so I waited a little longer to come out and besides that was before they started to induce labor. How old will you be: The Big 40. Over the hill. Do you like the fact that you are aging: There are times I like it and times I don't. I guess it just depends on what mood I am in. For the most part it doesn't bother me. Where is usually your birthday bash? The past couple of years at one restaurant or another. No place special. Do you get drunk on your birthday: Not really, I am usually the designated driver! Who usually comes to your birthday party: Friends and Family. Depends on where I am at the time of my birthday. What age do you want to stop having birthdays at: The Birthday that I am 6 foot under. Why stop having parties. Your birthday should be a celebration of your life. Of course it took many years of rebuilding my self-esteem to figure that one out. Do you act crazy on your birthday: Isn't Crazy in the eye of the beholder? What do you usually do on your birthday: Most of the time I work on my birthday. But then we usually just go out to dinner and a get together for cake and ice cream. Nothing exciting. What was your favorite birthday gift you ever got? Money is always a great present! What is your least favorite birthday gift you ever got: Anything that my brother in law's family gives me. They are the family that you just cringe when you open their presents because it is usually either ugly or something they don't want. Any birthday humiliations: None that I can remember, or maybe I just blocked them out!! Where would you love to have your birthday at OR go to for your birthday: What would be your ultimate birthday present: Be able to do travel writing full time! Your favorite birthday day OR moment: My birthday in '91. I had lunch at the Speedway Club at the Charlotte Motor Speedway and had lunch with a couple of my hero's. Did you enjoy this W/O: Yes Do you trust me(Jbrd): Not presently on my WOT Will you trust him after this W/O: I will look into it.  |
