Angered by the Incompetence of Discount Tire!

The Bottom Line Please be aware of the incompetency you may find at Discount Tire. Pay a little more and go somewhere else.
I just brought my 2004 Santa Fe in today to get 2 new front tires because one of my Bridgestone Duelers (that came with the car from the dealership) blew out last week and was completely destroyed after only 31,000 miles-- mmmmmmmmm.....(that's another review that I will get to later).
So we arrived at Discount Tire at 8:25 a.m. -- 5 minutes before they opened and there were already about 15 people in line. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for two tires only to come home and go back out 6 hours later to find that the new passenger side front tire installed by Discount Tire was leaking and only had 20 pounds of air in it! Great. Of course they are not open on Sunday, so my boyfriend will have to go down on Monday morning and take time off from work to get this tire put on correctly and/or replaced. Not only did they mess up our tire but they would have forgotten to remove the blown out tire and give us a spare had my boyfriend not gone out to the bay and told the installer. Mind you, we did tell the sales guy to put a spare in for us but did he tell them? No, of course not. It's only his job, why on earth would he do that? We also observed another customer check for his spare to find that it was not there.
I am getting sick and tired of incompetence. It seems to be getting worse every year. I pay good money and spend my valuable time to get shotty customer service. This is not just a messed up lunch order, when you are dealing with someone's tires, you are placing your customer's lives in your hands. So I feel they should do nothing less than a perfect job.
I usually go to Discount Tire and I do recall having a problem with something not being done correctly in the past. However, I overlooked that because they do have the best prices as I have done plenty of comparison shopping online. I do not think I will ever do business with Discount Tire again. Certainly not that particular location but most likely not with them at all.
