You may or may not be getting tired of hearing about Coty's progress during BMT, but I promised you that I'd keep you updated. First I'd like to say, as I have so many times recently, and Coty has stated in his phone calls, emails, and letters to me, that without you and the words of encouragement you've given to him and our Family, he would not have come this far.... Well, he has gone further than expected thanks to all of you:) I truly appreciate your emails to him and your prayers for his continued success. Below is just another example of how far your words of support have taken my Son, Coty. I went to a web site called Lackland AFB and was reading that in the fifth week, someone from his Squadron will be chosen to design their Flight T-Shirt Before joining the service, Coty was offered many Art Scholarships, and his art was displayed in his School museum throughout his junior and senior years. I sent Coty a copy of one of his drawings and asked him to show it around to his Squadron, in hopes that he'd be chosen for this great honor. I hadn't heard anything about it from Coty so I put it on the back burner. Well I got another letter today that reads.... "Mom, Guess what I just got done doing?....I just drew the Flight T-Shirt design" In an earlier post, I stated that "It takes a Village To Raise A Child." Not really realizing the true impact of those words when I wrote them, I stand in awe of all of you good people at Epinions now. Your prayers for my Son and your very kind words to my Son have given him the strength to carry on through one of the toughest times of his life. Coty has written letters, sent an email, and made a phone call home, not once has he failed to mention everyone here at Epinions. Kathy aka Kamel622 left me a comment on one of my recent post's, saying that everyone here should adopt Coty, I think, in your Wonderful Heart of Hearts, you have.
