Beware Broadway Photo!!!

I have been looking online for a digital camera and found a good deal at Broadway Photo. I was told to call to expedite order. I called and the rep that I spoke to tried to get me to purchase a $200 battery and other accessories. When I refused he advised me that my "item is in stock and you will get your UPS tracking number later today". I checked my order online (on their website) later that day and my camera was on backorder. I called and someone by the name of "Lawrence Jackson" very rudely told me that my item is backordered and I will have to wait 2-3 weeks for them to get it from Canon overseas. I told them that when I called that morning I was told my item was "in stock" and now it's not. Amazing!!! I called again today because on their website the item says "in stock". I was told today that it's in stock but when I said I had ordered already and had an order number they "made a mistake" and it's out of stock. I spoke to "Gabe" and he apologized and said he will send it out 2 day air for free once they receive it. It's funny because when I was ordering my item, there was no problem...but when I called for questions, I would wait for 15 minutes, then someone would pick up the line and place me on hold again without saying anything. Then when someone answered, they would place me on hold for about 10 more minutes.
After reading all the negative reviews from this site, I called to cancel my order. I spoke to Todd at ext 287 and he cancelled it. We will see what happens.
