Now, more than ever, is when I should be more aware of my weight since I have Angina. Heres to coming back stronger and more healthy than before. 1. What is your current Weight? (optional) 145lbs 2. What is your goal weight, or how many pounds do you want to lose? 130lbs since that is my ideal weight at 5 feet 7. 3. Are you currently on a diet regimen? If so which one? Yes, no red meats, fresh steamed vegetables, grains per doctors orders. Gotta get the old ticker back into shape. 4. When did you begin your current plan and how's it going so far? About a month. Im a bad girl, I have been cheating a little because I love my sweets. I have lost 3 lbs so far but have not started my exercise regimen yet, so heres hoping. 5. What other diets (if any) have you tried in the past? What were the results? Oh, yes, a couple of years ago, I went on a low carb diet and lost 40lbs over a period of 3 months. 6. Do you include exercise with your diet? If so what activities or workouts are you performing? In the past, I used weights and treadmill but since I now have a heart condition my exercise at the moment is limited to brisk walking. 7. What was your most dramatic weight loss? 65lbs after the birth of my son. I retained so much water with him, my stomach was huge. I would bump into everything toward the end of my pregnancy. It was no wonder he weighed 9 lbs 2 oz. Nevertheless, 2 months after I had him I was back to normal. 8. Have you ever gained back the weight after a diet? If so why? Oh, heck, yes. I think everybody does once they stop dieting and revert back to their naughty ways and then its back to the drawing board. I watch my weight now though and never let it get over 150lbs. 9. Out of the following: Neck, arms, legs, calves, abs, shoulders, back, chest...which do you feel is most defined? Arms are always a problem for me especially since I can no longer use the weights. I have always had to work on my upper body strength. As soon as I get over this hump in my life, I will be back to weights again. 10. Which area from the above mentioned do you feel needs the most work? My arms, of course and my abs could use a bit of toning up. 11. What is your impression of the "real women" ads you see on billboards advertising skin care products (women in white bras and underwear posing and smiling)? I have never seen these but more power to them if it makes them feel good.
