As far as I can see, it should be out now in the States. With Jessica Biel in I'd have thought it would at least get a moderately big release?

I'm sure I did watch Cranford a while ago, but I really can't remember any of the characters in it! Elizabeth Gaskill adaptations seemed to come into vogue in the UK very briefly and then vanish without trace...
I think you'll enjoy Easy Virtue - it's not Jane Austen, but it's enjoyable for many of the same reasons as adaptations of her books are. Plus of course it has Mr Darcy in it - well Colin Firth anyway...

That's interesting, I just watched Ms. Nixon in the BBC adaptation of Cranford, and I was thoroughly enchanted by her performance. I'll have to check this one out! Excellent review as always. -- Telynor
