I always have a soft spot for burgers, especially when the meat is premixed with other little ingredients. Even my kids loved it, they thought it was the best burger ever! Let me know what you think. 2 lb ground beef chuck 1/3 cup finely chopped onion 1 tbsp chili powder 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin 3/4 tsp chopped fresh oregano 3/4 garlic pepper seasoning 3/4 tsp salt Pepperjack cheese [Or whatever suits your fancy] Hamburger buns 1. Heat pan over medium heat. Meanwhile, crumble meat into a large bowl. Sprinkle with onion, chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic pepper, & salt, if desired. Toss lightly with two forks, or get down & dirty and use your hands to mix it well. Then shape into whatever size you want them to be. 2. Place burgers in pan. Cook until done the way you like it. Top each burger with a slice of cheese. |
