| Rocks2k's Full Review: Kenwood Z919 CD/MP3 Receiver Camcorder |
I recently bought this Kenwood head unit because I knew that Kenwood was a quality company. I also wanted a cd player that would play MP3's in my car since that is what I mainly use. At my local audio store they had this Kenwood and I bought it for $450. I installed it in my car and hav'nt regreted it since.
The quality of this unit is unmatched. It is very well built and takes all the bumps in your car that you can throw at it. The sound quality is right there too. With features like Drive Distortion Reduction circuitry, Zero Bit Mute, Digital Optimum Servo Control, and Precision Digital Timing you will hear every sound crystal clear.
The power source is decent but I feel it could of been better. This unit utilizes a 4- way high output amplifier that produces 22 watts RMS/ 45 watts peak to 4 channels. Another good feature is the ability to fine tune your sound. The built in KEX equalizer comes with 6 highly tuneable presets to fit your music needs.
This unit comes equiped with sets of outputs on the back incase you wanted to add additional amplifiers. The looks of this unit stand alone from others. The flip down face and the multi color LCD display make this unit look extremely nice in the dark.
I would highly recommend this to anyone shopping around for an MP3 player. This is definitly worth the money and will last a long time with the 3 year warranty that it comes with.
