Several people were hoping Dr. Steph would show up--even though the picture on your pre-made tag was not yours . . . . Next time...

It was too short a time, but I'm glad we got a chance to chat, Dave.

I'll have to put you on the list of literary events Lisa J. You can make an day and evening of it when you are in the mood.

Thanks for the comment and great quote, Tom.

Kid duty is a a pretty good excuse Nancy... next time ...

Glad Jenny and Bill were able to make it. Good to meet you as well.

...that I couldn't make it (as one of the many who RSVP and didn't show). My excuse wasn't nearly as good as the bus one, but persuasive enough to keep me home. Anyway, it sounds like it was definitely worthwhile.

That our bus was stormed by US Marines in the mistaken impression that we were smuggling Osama in?

No?

Ok, guess not.

It was great meeting you too, Chris. Wish we could have talked longer.

It was nice to meet you, and I am hoping that we'll be able to make it to one of your future poetry readings. We were in Seattle today for the Huskies game and to take our daughter to a concert thing at Key Arena. Looking forward to another get together!

you said...
"Part of me believed there was something very positive about remaining at least somewhat anonymous in regards to an online writing community , but part of me realized that such a belief is a cop-out and there is much to be discovered about ourselves and others through an interaction of personalities."

Yes indeed. It can be a fine line to walk.

Very nicely said . . .despite you protestations of possible 'sloppiness'.

I really wish we could have made it to your poetry reading. I'm glad we were able to at least make it to the Meet and Greet so that we could get to know some West Coast Epinionators. Seattle is a lovely city. I hope we can get back out there again someday!
