I recently bought a dog fleece from sitstay.com and when I tried it on my dog it was too large, so we returned it. However, I recently got an e-mail from them saying it was impossible for them to take it back because it was too 'hairy'. My dog had it on for approximately 2 minutes to try on for size.
I would imagine that at any regular pet store and your pet tries on a fleece, and if it doesn't fit (and he happened to have gotten a couple of hairs on it because well, he's a dog), they will not make you buy it. However, this is exactly what I experienced with sitstay.com.
TERRIBLE customer service, very rude and I will certainly not be purchasing from them again. They never stated how many hairs on the fleece would qualify as 'too hairy'. 1 strand of hair? 5? I see this as a manipulative plot not to allow you to return your items which is very unprofessional of the company.
