You can do better going to a retail store like Best Buy, or comparison shopping online. If they bring back free overnight shipping, I would shop there again.

I was a frequent shopper at Outpost.com in the beginning when they had free overnight shipping as an option. At that time they also had a good selection of products and I could usually find what I wanted. It seemed though that as soon as they started charging for shipping their product selection became worse and their delivery was less than desirable.
I used Outpost.com mainly for purchasing new or outdated video games that are often sold out or not available at common retail stores. When it comes to situations like that, it is more economical to pay the higher amount for the products than to waste gas searching for a store that has it. However, there are a lot better places available now for doing that (with cheaper shipping prices) as e-business has become more competitive. The only real competitive edge Outpost.com had WAS its free overnight shipping policy. Without that, it just stands out as a somewhat mediocre place to buy electronics.
As I said earlier, Outpost.com was a decent place to buy things when it had free overnight shipping, but as soon as the free overnight shipping policy was lifted things went downhill. Until then I was able to find pretty much anything I was looking for, but after the change I was seldom able to find the particular games I wanted and when I did find a game I was looking for and ordered the game it took them 2 weeks to tell me that it was out of stock and they had to backorder it. Then they made me wait another 5 or 6 weeks before telling me that they could not backorder the product and I would have to look elsewhere.
One bonus I do have to give Outpost.com though was that they were very prompt at returning my customer service emails. However, the customer service was not all that helpful.
I would have to say that Outpost.com had its time when it was offering something unique that nobody else offered: free overnight shipping. After that was gone, it just went downhill.
