100??? I don't feel a day over 95

The Bottom Line What, party time? Where's my teeth?
It happened when I wasn't looking....I was just sitting here, noodling around on the keyboard, when SPANG!!!! Out of the blue, with no warning at all, my cat leaped out of the bedroom with a pair of my underwear shorts in his mouth, and raced through the slightly ajar apartment door and down the hall of my building, and onto the elevator, where I'm told he toured the building for a while until I was able to catch up to him. I don't know which floor he was on when he dropped the underwear.
After I got all of that sorted out, I returned to my computer and noticed that I was set up to write my 100th Epinions article.
When others have reached this personal milestone, I've noticed they've done one of a few things, generally, such as:
1) Writing a member advice article: Well, I'm not one to advise members on anything at all, unless it deals with the wisdom behind keeping your apartment door firmly latched at all times, or your underwear out of your cat's reach, so I think I'll pass on this one.
2)Reminiscing about the Days Of Yore: The days of your what? Oh... I get it. Well, I've been here off and on for roughly five years...more days I've been off while on than on while off, or something like that. Dammit, where did the cat drop my underwear?
3) Announcing a Write-Off: I haven't a clue what I could possibly host a Write-Off about: I'm open to suggestions. Maybe cat-training tips?
Actually, I have a different idea, and no clue if it will actually fly until we see if there's any interest. I'm going to extend an invitation to everyone: Given the popularity of Epinion's Meet and Greet events, and given the fact that I'm too economically challenged to ever get to any of those, I thought to myself, why not hold an unofficial meet, here in Duluth, MN? Possibly toward the end of October? I know the weather will start to have gotten a wee bit on the cooler side by then, but what the heck; I can even think of one group activity that is worthwhile, and doesn't cost very much, which means even I can afford it. The Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center hosts tours of a 750-foot ore carrier vessel that every late October is transformed into "The Haunted Ship Tour" with special effects, actors, and costumes, with an emphasis on good clean spookiness and humor.
Does this sound like something anyone might be interested in? Leave a comment, or email me, and I'll work on the details, off-season hotel rates, and all the rest for perhaps a weekend "Epinions Members Unofficial Hugh-Fest" or whatever y'all would like to call it, tentatively toward the end of October. Other suggestions of things to do are always welcome. Epinions Staff members are welcome to attend also, unofficially, of course.
Contact me and we'll see what happens....until then, I do need to close with a word of thanks...to so many who have made writing at Epinions a true blast. You know who you are...most are on my WoT and have been a cool group to hang with and have some fun, "Hugh" style.
Here's hoping the next 100 don't put you to sleep.
Until then, through everything, I remain your trusty guide to the eccentric guy in Northern Minnesota;
Hugh U. Kidden
