Many of you are probably familiar with Ebay, so what can I say? It's great, right?
For those of you who have never tried it, Ebay.com is the biggest auction site online. People, 99% great people, auction off everything from A to Z. You can bid on products like antiques, computers, movies & dvd, jewelry, stamps, toys and cars just to name a few. These products ranging in price from $1.00 to millions. Dah.Dah.Dah.Dah If i were a rich man, but I digress.
I have won bids(bought) beautiful curtains, fabric, silk flowers, European posters, English postcards, old prints, computer hardware to name a few things. All arrived in excellent condition and nicely packaged. All were great bargains compared to store prices, but these, for me, are not the best things about Ebay.
To me, the best thing is the bidding. It's fun, really it is! It's comparable to going to the racetrack.
So what do you do:
Well You select your item.
Then you wait for the bidding time to be almost up.
You watch the screen, someone outbids you.
So, you bid a little bit more.
You watch and wait.
Shoot!
Another bid!
You type like a fiend to get your new bid in.
You watch and wait and bid and watch and wait and bid and if you are lucky ... YOU WIN! Even after all this, which goes by in what seems like an instant - you get great product at a bargain.
There is only one problem that I have seen and it is the seller over exaggerates the shipping charge. For example and item that would normally cost $3.00 dollars to ship they will charge $6.00 - $9.00. Which is not to bad when an item in the store cost $50.00 and you get it for $10.00 to $15.00 on ebay. What more could a crazed shopoholic ask for? NOTHING!!!
