At least once a week I find myself typing in www.ebay.com. I just can't help myself!! What better place to go when you want to find anything and everything? I have bought more than my fair share of stuff on eBay from Australian Art to Violins and Christmas presents.
I find that the site opens up relatively easily, has never been down when I have gone there and it has a really good search engine.
Most of the people that sell on eBay are great to deal with. I have had a couple of instances though whereby I have received broken items (usually because of poor packing) or the item wasn't how they said it would be. Unfortunately, you're going to get shady people everywhere. At least I have had only a small amount of bad experiences and that's great, considering I buy from there so often. I think the feedback feature on the site is a bonus as well. Gives you the opportunity to leave appropriate feedback to those you buy from and credibility is important.
Overall, I like eBay and I'd say it's definitely my favorite online auction site!!!
