while on vacation in Asheville, NC. Many artisans and crafters live there & display and sell their work in town.
If you are ever in the area, check it out!

So far we have stayed at the Residence Inn, Homewood Suites and a few others, but not this particular chain. I'm glad we haven't. Sorry for your awful experience.

I'm getting a worse and worse feeling for Comfort Inn. They just seem to have no clue. Your review is just another nail in that coffin.
BTW: I got hit with the line about "safe fee" or some nonsensical BS from a Comfort Inn in San Diego CA. It was only a couple bucks, but it ticked me off. I asked that it be removed. They declined. I asked that they cancel my reservation on the spot since it was still before 6pm. They had no choice but to do so, and I felt like I could hold my head high as I walked out. As a bonus, I got a room at another place over on Hotel Row for $20 a night LESS, plus no stupid rip-off gimmicks. Sometimes it really PAYS to have integrity!
