Wow, you have given me some great idea's, I never even thought of Jill being gay! I do have the next chapter in mind, just haven't had the chance to write it down yet. I will get to it as soon as I can!
Thanks,

You know something? I think they all... (Reply to this comment)

...sound like a bunch of players.
Jill and Lisa are, seemingly, out to get men to buy stuff for them, and I think that Bill sees someone he can get into bed.
They probably all need to grow up.
But Jill definitely has a sympathetic kind of reason for her actions: being traumatized by investing in a relationship while in high school only to eventually find out that her boyfriend was gay.
Her response to this seems to have been not to have trusted men--and it might be very possible that she, too, will decide that she's a lesbian and has loved Lisa all along.
Which brings up the issue re: whether being gay is nature or nurture.
My thoughts are that most gay people don't wake up one day and say, "I think I'm going to be gay..."--which makes one think that it might be that they were actually born gay by having a certain kind of body make-up, just as a certain make-up (an extra chromosome) makes some people have Down Syndrome and certain other genes contribute to eye-color, which hand is your dominant one, etc.
Although I think that, among the gay people of this world, there might be some that are almost born to be gay, I think that most people begin life as hetrosexuals but different things that happen to them might influence their sexual preferences.
If it turns out that Jill finds Lisa to be someone constant in her life while she gets let down by men such as Max and Bill, she might end up turning to Lisa for love of all kinds--especially, if Lisa has already wondered about it herself (or even might actually already be a lesbian--but still liking to get with men in order to have them buy things for her).
One thing that I do think is that Jill's sense-of-self hasn't really developed.
She was, obviously, simply going through the motions of wanting/enjoying sex in order to get Bill to the altar.
I think that, all along, she was more in love with the idea of having a boyfriend than she was with Bill--that she had bought into society's myth that "normal" adult women are coupled by an early age.
Don't even get me started!
Anyway, it's a great story, and I can hardly wait for you to write the next chapter!
Kudos!
AJ :-)
