Kate (catherine Zeta-Jones) is a woman on a mission to be the best chef in the city when things change in her life and in her restaurant...
The acting was pretty good in this movie. Both Catherine Zeta Jones & Aaron Eckhert did well as a couple in my opinion. Their back and forth in the movie was quite interesting and kept the movie intriguing up until the end.
The movie is not as predictable, as it seems, at the beginning, there are actually interesting parts to this movie as it goes on an adventure and invites the viewer to come along. Eventually the movie gets quite predictable in the end and drags on to the usual feel good romance movie.
The romance in this movie is not that good, and neither is the comedic aspect of the film. The films identity seems to be more family oriented and if that was the goal then it exceeded its expectations but otherwise it would just be an average, borderline not very good romance film. As a family film it captured very good moments that make you smile and were very genuine. In general it is a heartfelt movie.
Just a random note the producers took a page out of "The boy who could fly's" book in one of the scene's which was interesting to me, but may not be interesting to others.
