Renuzit Pearl Scents...scented but pesky pearls

I love scent. There isn't a room in my home that doesn't have a Wallflower or other type of air freshener in it. I was shopping before Christmas and came across Renuzit Pearl Scents on sale. I also had coupons so I purchased two of them. When I arrived home, I immediately placed the Pure Breeze scented freshener in one bathroom and the Apples & Cinnamon scent in the other bathroom. Renuzit introduced this product some months ago and they are supposedly the only type of freshener that offers a continuous fragrance with the help of the scented beads.
Renuzit claims that it uses "PureCleanTechnology to neutralize odors in the air from smoke, pets, bathroom, and odor - causing bacteria." The 3.5 oz. container itself is a square plastic piece that has a grey cap with holes in the top to release the scent. The inside of the container contains little round, colored, soft beads. The color of the beads coordinates with the actual scent. For example, the Apples & Cinnamon scent has red beads. I actually picked my scents to coordinate with the colors in my bathrooms. While I would prefer something a little less discrete, the container sure is two steps up from those ugly Renuzit LongLast Adjustable Air Fresheners.
After removing the seal underneath the grey cap and replacing the cap back onto the container, you will be able to smell the scent right away. Besides smelling the product, you can actually see the product working because the beads will grow smaller and smaller. You’ll know exactly when to replace the product because the beads will be really small and you will no longer have any scent. I have been impressed with both of the scents and that I can actually smell them working when I walk into my bathrooms.
This product comes in six scents: After the Rain, Apple & Cinnamon, Festive Snow, Fresh Lavender, Orchard Garden, and Pure Breeze. I have tried the two I mentioned above but have yet to need to purchase another because they are both still in use. I don’t have any doubt that I will purchase them in the future because they do work and I do like the scents. The Apples & Cinnamon scents smells exactly like it sounds except it’s more of a spicy apple scent. The Pure Breeze scent smells like fresh laundry that has been dried outside in the fresh air. I am happy with them both but might try the other scents in the future just to see what they are like. I spend $1.50 for each container after sales and coupons. I doubt I would pay the regular price for these. I also like them because unlike the electric fresheners, they give off a scent without having to be plugged in, which saves on electricity and keeps my electrical sockets open for other things.
The only complaint I do have is that when the beads shrink, they tend to stick together and don’t give off much scent so I have to shake them up a bit to get them to unstuck but it’s a very minor thing. Also, you have to be careful that you don’t tip the product over when the beads get smaller because they will fall out of the holes in the lid. I don’t ever touch the thing after placing it in my bathroom, except to shake it up now and again so I don’t have this problem but I did realize they could when I shook it hard one day. Because of these little beads, please keep them up and out of young children and your pets reach so they don’t accidentally ingest the beads if knocked over. I don’t keep any of these types of products in reach of kids or pets, so I won’t have this problem.
Overall, I do like these air fresheners compared to other spray cans and stationary fresheners that are offered. I continue to purchase Bath & Body Works Wallflowers for my others rooms but have entrusted by bathrooms to Renuzit Pearl Scents.
