I REALLY wanted to go to this one! I lived in Arlington when I was young and I love the Dallas area. Since we just visited for a week last March, though, it was pretty tough to talk hubby into going back at the moment :).
Glad you had a good time!

thanks for setting me straight on the nickname Bryan - now I have no idea why I couldn't come up with the source on my own...
kudos for getting the first summary of the event posted, but no - I won't be trading the nano for your distinction here. Sorry.
You REALLY need to write that Black Eyed Peas review - I mean, SOMEBODY has to do it, and you described your opinion about it to me so very well at the MnG. Go for it - lay waste to the Peas!
Keep in touch - Amy and I are thinking that the Texas Eps-Peeps need to have another MnG (official or not) sometime next year. I know that I wouldn't mind taking a trip to Austin, Houston or San Antonio, and Dallas is always good too.
It was great to meet you!

You official have the first write-up. Most excellent good sir.
Sorry we didn't get to do more than just a simple handshake at both hello and goodbye. I'm glad you enjoyed your time over at the music table....

I didn't hear you say anything remotely offensive. I can overlook the BrYan attack if you can forgive me for telling your date how much she looks like Debby Harry (not that that's a bad thing!)
Seriously, everything said and done was all in good fun. Sorry you weren't able to join us afterwards- maybe next time?

I still want to go to one of these things if they ever have one near me. It sounds like a great time, even if you didn't win the Nano. :o)

All BrYan's Suck?! (Reply to this comment)

I heard that!!!!
I keep waiting and waiting for a Meet and Greet to pop up in my nearby vicinity, like in Atlanta or Nashville but I wonder if the day will ever come. I have already met face to face with about 20 different members but it would still be nice to go to an official Greet. One of these days, my dream will come true.
Do you think you will go to another M&G if it's within a reasonable distance or is one enough?

"Before I get to all the juicy details of half naked kumbaya campfire stories,. . ."
Careful . . .melting, drippy s'mores can wreak savage damage on bare flesh..!!
But I bet there was some real 'bonding. during the choruses of Kumbaya . . .hell, it's bringing a tear to my eye just imagining it.
Now . . .down to business...where are the pics ('nakid' or not..!!)....???
Sounds like I want to book a seat at the music roundtable at the next meet-n-greet. Thanks for the summary, sounds like you had some fun.
Very nicely said.
